■Dogs must be registered with them by Friday to avoid additional fees. If your dog’s rabies vaccination is up-to-date, you may register online at townofboscawen.org. The forms can be mailed or dropped off with the updated rabies vaccination record or reminder letter with payment. You may also call the town offices at 753-9188 ext. 1 to register over the phone.

■The Canterbury Board of Selectmen have agreed to continue the mask requirement for anyone entering a town building and for employees to continue to wear masks when social distancing is not feasible. The selectmen will continue to monitor the situation and make changes when possible.
■The Cemetery Trustees of Canterbury are undertaking forfeiture proceedings on the lot identified on the 1934 map of Maple Grove Cemetery, Canterbury, NH, as B-7, a 10-foot by 21-foot burial lot owned by Rev. and Mrs. Josiah and Ida (Plastridge) Higgins, late of Canterbury, New Hampshire. If anyone has information concerning the above mentioned owners, or the location of their heirs, please contact the Canterbury Cemetery Trustees within 60 days to halt the forfeiture proceedings. ■The Salisbury annual town meeting to vote on warrant articles and the town budget will be Saturday at 1 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Salisbury Safety Building. Stay tuned to postings at the post office, Academy Hall and the town website. One of the things discussed will be the trash compactor warrant article. Residents will vote on purchasing a trash compactor for the transfer station. The select board and the budget committee both recommend this project. ■The Friends of Forgotten Children food pantry located at 224 Bog Road in Concord serves 23 towns in Merrimack County and Salisbury is one of them. They are open on Thursdays from 9-11:15 a.m. and 12-7 p.m. A household can come once a month for food. During COVID-19, the pantry is not verifying income eligibility. First time clients should bring proof of residency for each member of the household. Call 753-4801 upon arrival and someone will take your information and bring your food outside.
■May vehicle renewal registration information has been mailed to those who need to renew. Please follow the directions in the letter enclosed and the town clerk will mail your new stickers and registration to you. This only covers vehicles previously registered in Salisbury, not new vehicles or vehicles of new residents. Online vehicle registration for renewals and dog licensing is now live. See the town’s website under the department of the town clerk for that information. ■The town meeting was a great success. The hardy people who showed up were ready to battle the elements outside until it started to rain hard, at which time it was voted unanimously (except for the moderator – a truly hardy person) to go inside to the gym (thank you WES) and finish the meeting. David Hemenway presented outgoing selectboard member, Chris Schadler, with flowers and maple syrup to thank her for her service to the town.
