■The Junior Service League is having its third annual golf tournament at Beaver Meadow Golf Course on May 15 at 7:30 a.m. The cost to attend the event is $125 for a single golfer or $420 for a foursome. ■The Concord Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon off of Capitol Street in downtown Concord. The event has 40 vendors that offer a variety of products including meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, fish, honey, baked goods and maple products. Also featured are potted plants, cut flowers, wood products, dog treats and body care products.

■Reserve your spot now, as space is limited, at the Pope Memorial SPCA low-cost vaccinations clinic on May 15 from 10 a.m. to noon. The online form must be completed and sent in before the appointment. Bring your cats, dogs and ferrets for rabies vaccination ($20), microchip ($25), kennel cough vaccine ($15) and distemper vaccine ($15). Proof of past rabies vaccinations is needed to determine if your pet needs a one- or three-year vaccine. Cats must be safely in carriers and dogs on leashes.
