■The Concord Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon off of Capitol Street in downtown Concord. The event has 40 vendors that offer a variety of products including meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, fish, honey, baked goods and maple products. Also featured are potted plants, cut flowers, wood products, dog treats and body care products.

The online form must be completed and sent in before the appointment. Bring your cats, dogs and ferrets for rabies vaccination ($20), microchip ($25), kennel cough vaccine ($15) and distemper vaccine ($15). Proof of past rabies vaccinations is needed to determine if your pet needs a one- or three-year vaccine. Cats must be safely in carriers and dogs on leashes.
