As a small business and agency owner of American Income Life Insurance Company, in my view, “right to work” laws, including SB 61, weaken the middle class and undermine the purchasing power of workers and consumers who shop and buy locally. “Right to work” does not create jobs or a friendly business environment. It takes our money away from workers (who are also consumers), and that is bad for business.
Business can not thrive where there are no customers. American Income Life Insurance Company is unionized, and has been for decades. We thrive as a responsible employer. With continued growth we create more career opportunities throughout the US and the countries we work within. Please don’t make New Hampshire a “right to work” for less state, our state deserves better and so do our communities.
