Bow Sgt. Matt Pratte and K-9 Officer, Roxy, visited St. John Regional School in Concord on June 1. The duo put on a presentation for the pre-K and kindergarten kids featuring several cool tricks and commands, while also answering students’ questions about being a police officer and all things K-9.
“It is very evident that our school community was impacted greatly as many of the young children had never seen a police officer in real life, let alone had time to ask questions and take a tour of a police cruiser,” said Marygrace Bartoldus, school kindergarten teacher. “Each child was able to climb inside the cruiser and turn the lights on, which truly filled their eyes with magic.”
