■The Concord Public Library is expanding its hours in August! Starting Monday, the CPL will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 225-8670.

■Pick up a Greek meal at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Concord on Aug. 8 from 12-1 p.m. The August meal is a Greek vegetable medley, rice pilaf, a piece of tiropita (cheese pie), salad, roll, and baklava. The cost of the meal is $15. Order your meal by emailing ordernygreekfood@gmail.com, calling 953-3051 or visiting holytrinitynh.org. Deadline to order is Wednesday.

■GoodLife Programs & Activities (254 North State St.) is offering a class called Stretch Your Grocery Dollar on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be expensive. Learn easy ways to get the biggest bang for your buck on healthy foods at the grocery store. The cost to attend is $5. Registration is required by Tuesday. ■Bad Medicine will be holding a concert at Eagle Square on Thursday at 7 p.m. The concert is brought to you by the Walker Lecture Fund, Grappone Auto Group and the Parks and Recreation Department.

■The Concord Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The market is located off of Capitol Street in downtown Concord. The event has 40 vendors that offer meat, eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables, fish, honey, baked goods and maple products. Also featured are potted plants, cut flowers, wood products, dog treats and body care products.

■Fayette Street will be closed from South Street to Chesley Street this week from 4:30-7:45 p.m. on Monday through Friday, for Restoration Foursquare Church Kids Week.

■The Blind Owl Band will perform on Friday at the Bank of NH Stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are from $18, plus ticketing fee, which directly supports the Capitol Center for the Arts.

■The Concord Criterium cycling race will close streets on Saturday from 5 a.m. to  6 p.m. around White Park on Saturday. Washington Street, White Street, Centre Street, Liberty Street, Franklin Street, Charles Street and Beacon Street will be affected.

■Capitol Street will be closed between Green Street and North State Street on Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Concord Farmers Market.

■The Concord Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome members back for “Business After Hours” on Aug. 9 at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy lively in-person networking at this indoor and outdoor event. Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from T-Bones American Eatery, and have the opportunity to tour the Tru by Hilton Concord hotel. The cost is $7 if paid in advance, or $10 if paid at the door. ■Sadie Raymond and Corbin Raymond will visit Gibson’s Bookstore on Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. for an in-person talk and book signing. They will discuss their book, “121 Days: The Corbin Raymond Story of Fighting for Life and Surviving a Traumatic Brain Injury.”

■Litherman’s Limited Brewery will be hosting a dinner made by dahlia, a nomadic restaurant, serving a multi-course tasting menu inspired by Litherman’s beer on Aug. 10 at 5 p.m.

■The Bishop Brady Craft Fair is back in-person on Dec. 11. Vendors can set up at 6:30 a.m. and shopping is open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The fee is $50 for a 10-foot by 10-foot space, or $55 for the same size with electricity. The fee includes a parking spot, a space for two chairs and advertisement/PR. There are no refunds. Online registration is only for returning artisans.
