This weekend will wrap up Sunfox Farm’s third annual Sunflower Bloom Festival.
With more than 10 acres of beautiful sunflower blooms, the festival is a unique opportunity for the public to experience the magic of sunflowers and capture great photos with family and friends. This year, the community-based experience includes farm-to-table food, live music, and local craft vendors on the weekends.
The festival runs daily through Aug. 22, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with live music from 1 to 6 p.m. on the weekends.
Tickets are $8 per person on weekdays and $10 on weekends. Children under 10 are free. $2 per stem for pick-your-own flowers. Please, no dogs.
The farm is located at Brookford Farm, 250 West Road, Canterbury.
Sunfox Farm is a farming venture led by Greg Pollock, a young farmer-entrepreneur from Deerfield. Since 2018, Greg has been working to bring his dream of producing unique, high-quality, and sustainably grown agricultural products to life. After the sunflower festival each year, Sunfox Farm harvests and cold-presses unrefined, high oleic sunflower oil for sale across the region. Sunfox Farm also offers a variety of other products, including dried herbs and spices, mushrooms and – for the first time this year – a range of herbal teas.
