The Concord JV boys’ soccer team lost in double overtime to Goffstown, 2-1. Concord’s goal was scored by Sid Rai, while Matt Jenness made four saves and Armin Alic played a strong game in the midfield.
■The Bow JV boys’ soccer team defeated Merrimack Valley, 2-0. Goalkeeper Aaron Barrieau recorded his second consecutive clean sheet with the help of the backline of Adler Moura, Austin Beaulieu, Dillon Moreau and Liam Miller. Ethan Anderson scored both goals for the Falcons.
■The John Stark JV field hockey team defeated Merrimack Valley, 3-0, behind goals from Courtney Cranshaw (two) and Ryann Telgen.
■The Bow JV golf team competed in its first match in program history and defeated Derryfield, 57-28. Luke Wilke carded a 44 to claim medalist honors, followed by Billy Smethurst (45) and Ian Soucy (52) rounding out the top three places.
The Rundlett boys’ soccer ‘A’ team lost three games last week, losing to Elm Street Middle School of Nashua, 5-0, Merrimack, 7-2, and Dover, 5-1. Heshima Mulind scored all of Rundlett’s goals.
■The Hopkinton girls’ soccer team earned a 3-1 win over Cawley and also tied Litchfield, 2-2, in a pair of games last week. Against Cawley, Paige Prisco-Nelson scored a goal and Ava Burns played well in the midfield. Avery Chase scored two goals, while Maeve Owens and Anne Pearce provided defensive help against Litchfield. Paige Boudette played two strong games in goal, making several saves.
■The Rundlett Middle School boys’ soccer ‘B’ team started theseason with a 6-5 victory over Merrimack Valley. RMS was led by goals from Paul Byage and Brayden Johnson.
Events
Everett Arena public ice skating hours will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday hours are from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday hours (which begin Oct. 9 will also be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission will be $6 for skaters and free for children ages 3 and under. Skate rentals are available. Skating lessons will begin in October and continue through March. For more information, visit concordnh.gov/skating.

Apprentices are needed for the New Hampshire Wrestling Officials Association for the 2021-22 season. A minimum of two years participating in the sport of wrestling as an official, coach or wrestler is required. Training will be in September.
