Members of the Buntin-Rumford-Webster Chapter of New Hampshire State Organization, Daughters of the American Revolution observed Constitution Day and Week this year by requesting a Constitution Week Proclamation from the Mayor Bouley of Concord; organizing displays in local libraries; donating age-appropriate history books to local Pembroke and Deerfield elementary and middle schools; ringing bells; putting up reminder posters at public places; distributing Constitution Week handouts with the Preamble of the Constitution; decorating rocks to drop in public places to remind the public of the 234th birthday of the U.S. Constitution; and celebrating this living document.
