Boscawen Old Home Day has been revived, resuscitated and Boscawen residents have been rewarded by a return to the Good Old Days, like 2019.
None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the Greater Boscawen Business Community.
The Premier Sponsor was again Elektrisola, which year after year provides their talent, time and funds in support of our Community. Major Sponsors who stepped up were Boscawen Sunoco, Boscawen Sand & Gravel, Huckleberry Propane and Oil, Tarnhelm Supply and Black Forest Nursery. Friendly Sponsorships were provided by R.T. Lake, Inc., Foster Meadow, Briar Hydro Associates, Ross Express, LLC., Franklin Savings Bank, Elizabeth Hodgton, CFMC, Colby Lumber, Inc., Merrimack County Savings Bank, Coulter’s Building and Remodeling, The Homestead Inn, Highway View Farm, Boscawen Elementary School, Ledgetop Sugar House, Need For Beads, Inc., Gables Group Media and Marshall’s Flowers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Our community stepped up in other ways, providing raffle prizes for the Golf Tournament and other donations of services and cash. They are John and Sue Porter, Stephen and Lori Bernard, Caroletta Alicea, (especially Caroletta Alicea!), Brendan Casey, Janice Steenbeke, Tim and Kim Kenney, Tammy Pepler Crete, Genara Clay and Helen Newton.
In addition, thanks go to Smoke Shack, CC Tomatoes, MJ’s Automotive, Constantly Pizza, Penacook Pharmacy, Poirier Landscaping, Marshall’s Flowers, L&S Made in the USA, Buster’s Service Center, LLC, Murray Farms Greenhouse and Den Brae Golf Club. Special thanks to the folks at Den Brae for being the perfect hosts. Finally, Beaver Meadow, Canterbury Woods, Pembroke Pines Golf Clubs and Loudon Country Club all donated a free foursome with carts to the winning teams at Den Brae. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you, very much; a good time was had by all!
Lyman Cousens,
Boscawen Old Home Day committee
