■The Concord Public Library is offering Zig Zag Zoom Storytime: Scarecrow on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Keach Park. Join in for a hybrid Storytime of music and stories. ■The Walker Lecture Series invites you to join them for Mike Francis as Galileo on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Concord City Auditorium for “The Starry Messenger.” This is a dramatic, fun-filled adaptation of Galileo’s short treatise “Sidereus Nuncius.” Galileo, dressed in 17th century costume, describes his discoveries and explains his new method of observation and measurement of nature.
