On Oct. 9, NH Federal Credit Union is hosting its annual Johnny Appleseed Fall Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. at Carter Hill Orchard in Concord. The festival is open to the public and includes free activities including a scavenger hunt for children ages 12 and under; live music with Mike Morris; free balloon twisting and princess appearances from Party Palace by Snow White and Aurora; free educational information from Pope Memorial SPCA and NH Audubon; and a raffle for adults and spectacular views from atop Carter Hill.
