Catamount Womenaid would like to thank the sponsors and neighbors that made the 2021 Deerfield Veterinary Clinic Catamount 5k at the Deerfield Fairgrounds a triumph. Approximately $12,000 was raised at the Nov. 7 event, which allows Catamount Womenaid to continue to provide emergency financial assistance to men, women and children in need.
The Deerfield Veterinary Clinic was the Title Sponsor for the year. Northeast Delta Dental was the Community Sponsor, and the Neighbor Helping Neighbor Sponsors were Berkshire Hathaway/Verani Realty, East Coast Signals and Northeast Eye Care. Deerfield Country Insurance provided insurance coverage.
We are grateful to Emcee Tim Griffin, Photographer Caitlin Merrill, Warm-up Leader Maggie Lemay and numerous volunteers who assisted the more than 100 runners and walkers and directed them along the scenic course at the historic Deerfield Fairgrounds. A bountiful food table offered post-race refreshments provided by Panera Bread, Hannaford Market, Calef’s Country Store and Hannaford. Other generous businesses who donated goods or funds are Candia First Stoppe, Lindt Chocolates, MRP Manufacturing, Parade Properties, Plumbing and Heating Services, Runner’s Alley, Seacoast Braces/Miller Orthodontics, TD Bank, Tom Rochette Tax Services, United Rentals and VanBerkum Nursery.
