All your life, have you done your part to improve our Democracy? The responsibility lies on each and everyone of us to do more than just vote if we want to maintain the privilege of democratic freedom. Your time is now, so resolve to take two steps this January. First, do more than you think you can to stop the gerrymandering as the NH House is set to vote January 6th. Lines are about to be drawn to help political parties even more as over 25% of the state will be shifted in the most radical reshaping the NH Congressional districts in the last 140 years.
Communicate in every way you can to bend the ear of our state legislators and remind our governor that if he does nothing to stop this, he will be forever tainted with the stench of gerrymandering. Second is to step up and get involved in the New Hamphire grassroots movement to bring ranked choice voting to New Hampshire by joining the statewide zoom meeting Saturday, Jan. 8th at 9 a.m. to learn about your small part in giving us more choice at the polls. See nhrankedchoice.org for more.
