■The Webster Free Public Library has some ideas to stop cabin fever. The library has a new round knitting loom that has become very popular, and it is easy to use. You can make hats, booties, scarves, pillows, blankets for a doll bed and so much more.
■The library also has several gently-used puzzles to take out, and if you have some puzzles at home (please make sure all the pieces are there), the library is looking for additions to the collection. The first puzzle that was made on the big table is just about complete so it’s time to start another one.
■If you or your neighbor is homebound, the library will deliver books to your home (contact free) and bring them back to the library.
■There is also a telescope that would be perfect on these clear nights now that there are no bugs to bother you. Two very new additions to the library are Launchpads for children as well as Chromebooks.
■The Select Board will be meeting Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Grange Hall at Town Hall.
■The Planning Board will be holding a special meeting on Jan. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the Grange Hall at Town Hall. This meeting is being held to reconsider a motion made at the Dec. 16 Planning Board meeting.
