The Hopkinton High School Drama Department presentation of Guys and Dolls Jr. has been rescheduled to Jan. 28 at 8 p.m and Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Set in New York City, Guys and Dolls Jr. follows gambler, Nathan Detroit, as he tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for 14 years without ever getting married. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown. Guys and Dolls Jr. takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, but everyone eventually ends up right where they belong.
General admission tickets will be sold at the door and in advance at the school office during school hours (or contact KDonohoe@SAU66.org). The Box Office opens one hour before each show. Tickets are $8 for students/seniors and $10 for adults.
Masks are required.
