The conservatives are feigning outrage over President Biden’s pledge to name an African-American woman to the Supreme Court. They may have forgotten that both Reagan and Trump pledged to name a woman to the Supreme Court. Or maybe it’s a “Black thing.”
If you need to exercise your sense of outrage, consider this: the United States had a Supreme Court exclusively composed of white men for over 150 years. Justice is well-served with a more representative court.
