This past weekend I heard Tucker Carlson, a Fox Network host who is fully vaccinated, telling people to join the anti-vax group in Washington, D.C. that were protesting getting a COVID vaccine. He said that the government couldn’t mandate you “to get a medical procedure you don’t want because they don’t own your body. You will regret it if you let them.”
According to Chris Hayes’s evening report (MSNBC, 1/24), many of the 2,000 people per day who die are unvaccinated. I guess he hasn’t heard about Republicans making laws that force women to have an internal ultrasound if they are considering an abortion. I guess if the Supreme Court passes this, which they seem ready to do, then the Republican Party owns women’s bodies from now on.
