Weare voter, there is a clear choice for the two open seats on the Weare School Board: Alyssa Small, current interim member, and Bill Politt. Both have extensive experience in our schools, as volunteers, paras and subs. They are open minded, collaborators with a professional and respectful leadership style and a deep appreciation for ethics. Alyssa currently has two children in our schools. Bill is married to a retired Weare elementary teacher. His children and grandchildren attended our schools.
Both of these worthy candidates have a solid understanding of the current needs of our students for academic learning as well as social and emotional needs as we emerge from the challenges of COVID. They support the proposed budget and teacher’s contract, important components to meet those needs. Please vote on March 8 for Alyssa Small and William “Bill” Poliltt.
