I thought I had seen the limits of disrespect from certain Republican senators in other hearings, but the blatantly disrespectful and irrelevant lines of inquiry by Senators Cruz, Hawley, Cotton and Graham, were beyond belief.
They turned what is supposed to be an examination of a potential Supreme Court justice into a circus, and they were the clowns, but it wasn’t funny. They should be censured for their irresponsible and reprehensible questioning of a superbly qualified candidate for the U.S. Supreme Court. They obviously have no shame and no ethical “North Star.”
