Two cars collided at the intersection of North State Street and Park Street on Wednesday morning, sending one vehicle over the sidewalk and onto the lawn of the New Hampshire State Library but leaving no serious injuries.

Police say the crash took place at about 9:15 on April 6, when a Nissan Rogue going down Park Street hit a Chevy Malibu turning left from Park onto North State Street. The impact sent the Rogue onto the grass outside the state library at 20 Park Street.

The driver of the Nissan Rogue received a ticket for excessive speed, according to Deputy Police Chief John Thomas. The two cars were towed from the scene.

Concord Fire Deputy Chief Mark Hebert said two people were evaluated by Concord Fire but both refused medical care.
