■The Book Club meets at Franklin Public Library on April 14 at 1:30 p.m. The book for April is “The Book of Longings” by Sue Monk Kidd. This group meets the second Thursday of each month and will go through the summer.

■Hero Hustle, to support the Pemi Youth Center of Franklin will be held on May 14 at 8 a.m. Dress like a superhero and race down River Street Extension.
