■The first Tale Trail of the season opened on June 1 at Petals in the Pines. Follow the journeys of Pitter and Patter, two raindrops that fall from the sky and make their way through the water cycle by different paths. They meet many woodland and aquatic animals along the way. “Pitter and Patter,” written by Martha Sullivan, was chosen to coincide with the NH Public Library summer reading program theme “Oceans of Possibilities.”  The Tale Trail leads you to our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom where you’ll find an activity table to expand on the book’s theme. While they’re here, kids can enjoy our nature play spaces – and walk the “Peace” labyrinth.
