■Save the date for NH Gives on June 7 to 8! Pittsfield Youth Workshop (PYW) will be participating in NH Gives, a 24-hour online giving event, and we need your support! Donations made to PYW during NH Gives will be doubled, up to $40,000, thanks to the Foss Family Foundation!
■Pittsfield Old Home Day is Sat, July 23. The theme for the day is “Ocean Waves & Beach Days.” We are changing things up this year. The parade will be at 10 a.m. and the parade route will be shortened a bit. There will be no activities in Dustin Park but we are planning a great, family fun day at the F.B. Argue Recreation Area (Town Pool) starting at 11 a.m. (after the parade). A full schedule is coming.

■The Pittsfield Senior Center is happy to be open once again. Hours of Operation: Monday, Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon. Office hours only, no events are occurring at the Center unless stated otherwise. As the summer continues programs will be added. ■At the Senior Center on June 10 at 9:30 a.m., Tech Time. Have you wanted to get connected on Facebook or Instagram? Maybe you’re having trouble using your phone? Come on in and we will figure it out!
■The American Legion Peterson Cram Post 75 will meet on June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.
■Join the Pittsfield Historical Society at Sanborn Mills Farm on June 8 at 6:30 p.m. for a tour to see the only functioning water-powered sawmill in the U.S. to have both Circular and an Up and Down Saw.
■Joy Church is hosting a free Community Breakfast on June 11 at 8:30 a.m. All are invited to come out and enjoy a free, hot breakfast with others from the community.
■On June 7 at the First Congregational Church of Pittsfield NH, the Infant Toddler Diaper Pantry will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. Each family is eligible to come for the supplemental diapers once per opening (twice a month). We use the parking lot off Chestnut Street. We will also be accepting donations of diapers and wipes, including open packages. Please call 435-7471 if you have any questions.
■South Pittsfield Community Club Ham & Bean Suppers are back! June 11 and 25 from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at 444 Dowboro Road, Pittsfield, NH. Adults are $10 and children ages six to 12 are $5 and children under age six are free! “All You Can Eat” Menu includes: ham, homemade baked beans, homemade brown bread, potato salad, drinks, and homemade pies. Eat in or take out.
■The First Congregational Church, 24 Main St., will present a patriotic concert, “It’s America,” on June 17, 7 p.m. It will feature the Chancel Choir, JuBellation Handbell Choir and other talented musicians. Light refreshments will be served. Parking and wheelchair-accessible entrance are available at the Chestnut Street entrance. ■It’s time to nominate a person for Pittsfield’s Citizen of the Year! Please submit your nomination with a short note explaining why you think this person should be honored as Citizen of the Year for 2022. Nominations can be sent to Citizen of the Year, P.O. Box 173, Pittsfield, NH 03263. Nominations should be received by June 17.
■Declarations of candidacy for State Representative and Delegate to the Republican State Convention are to be filed with the town clerk’s office no earlier than June 1, nor later than June 10 at 5 p.m.

■The Josiah Carpenter Library is collecting plastic bottle caps for a Very Cool project. Please save them and drop them off at the Library!
■Kick off the Library’s Summer Reading Program “Oceans of Possibilities” by entering an Art Contest. All entries should follow an Ocean theme, and are due to the Library by June 20. You may use any 2D medium (markers, crayons, paint, etc). Please include name, age and phone number on entry. For more information, contact the Library at 435-8406.
■The Pittsfield Student Exhibition day will be held on June 9 – PES from noon to 6 p.m. and PMHS from noon to 7 p.m. Come see what the students have been learning all year!
■The Graduate Spotlight, sponsored by the PHS Alumni Association will be held on June 9 at the Exhibition Day at 6:10 p.m. at PMHS.
