I was agreeing with Joe Mendola heartily about focusing more on what we share in common, until the unfortunate misspelling in Abraham Lincoln’s quote. See, June 1 letter. He misspelled “angel,” writing “angle” instead, in the quote “better angels of our nature.”
The rest of the letter continued to misspell “angel” two more times, which distracted from the message completely. “Angle” is very different from “angel.” How did the Monitor miss that glaring error!
