Rodney Brown Jr. will take over as the athletic director for John Stark Regional High School effective July 1, superintendent Jacqueline Cole announced Thursday.

Brown recently served as the athletic director for Mascoma Valley and started with the Royals in 2019. His credentials aside from Mascoma Valley include the teen and sports director for the Allard Center YMCA in Goffstown and was a special educator/behavioral specialist for Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine.

Before Brown got his start in athletic administration, he was a track and field, and a soccer coach while at Noble High.

โ€œI am very honored to be the next athletic director at John Stark Regional High School,โ€ Brown said in a statement. โ€œI am excited about the opportunity and see where we can go with our student athletes. I look forward to hitting the ground running and collaborating with the John Stark school community.โ€
