■The Franklin Outing Club will host the second in a series of moderate, mostly flat wildflower hikes on July 10, led by Karen Darling, from 9 a.m. to noon. Expect a three-mile loop at a leisurely pace that may last three to four hours. Each month you will discover different wildflowers. The next hike will be on Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.
