Members and friends of the Zonta Club of Concord are grateful for another successful book sale at Concord’s Market Days. Loyal and new customers purchased hundreds of books and made donations in support of Zonta’s annual educational scholarships for local women. Book sales fund these scholarships that have long empowered women and girls to reach educational goals that personally strengthen them, their families, and the Concord community. Zonta thanks customers who partnered with us by purchasing books during Market Days and encourages visits to the Zonta “Book Nook” throughout the year at Hilltop Consignment, 56 N. Main St., open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. where book sales continue to “power” these scholarships that enrich so many women and families in our community.
