I am 78 years old. When I was young, abortion was illegal, and women had to be virgins until their wedding nights. One of my high school classmates broke the rule. She went to Mexico for an abortion and came back in a pine box. I am not a fan of abortion, but I am pro-choice. There are times when it is the lesser of two evils.
Without access to abortion, there will be more cases of rape victims forced to deliver the children of their rapists. Women whose lives depend on abortion giving birth to motherless babies or orphans. More unwanted children. More single parent families. More child poverty. More orphans.
