Groove Alliance is a throwback to a better era of music. Their sound and vibe embody the likes of Motown Records, Classic Rock icons and the funk bands of the 1950s through ’70s. While Groove Alliance can play it all, they are celebrated for their ability to create wild dance parties with a classic brand of timeless music.
Groove Alliance is an eight-piece show band that includes two outstanding lead vocalists, four-part harmonies, an exceptional rhythm section and an all-star three-piece horn section with multi-saxophones, trumpet and trombone. The band’s members have performed with national acts including Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears, have won Grammy awards and have been heard on national brand commercials. Lead vocalists Mike and Amy are co-leaders of Groove Alliance. A household name throughout New England and voted Best Show Band in New Hampshire by New Hampshire Magazine, Groove Alliance has performed at countless weddings, corporate events, clubs, casinos, festivals, boat cruises, private parties and parades.
Last summer Groove Alliance scored highest in Henniker’s audience survey and Davis & Towle stepped up once again to make it possible for us to bring them back. Henniker’s Davis & Towle Insurance Group is one of New Hampshire’s largest locally-owned independent insurance agencies. This family-owned organization has a rich tradition of protecting and supporting our community.
