I’ve understood that the GOP is the “law and order” party. Not that the Dems favor anarchy, but the emphases differ between the parties. Still, since the revelations about the FBI’s search warrant at Mar-a- Lago, GOP leaders in Congress are condemning this carefully legally executed search, calling it a political witch hunt and pledging retaliation if they get the majority in the next election.
What if the search reveals some serious crimes? How about waiting with their threats until we all find out more? Their loyalty to the former president causes me to wonder if they’ve been possessed by some manipulative spirit that prevents logical thought. Take a pause, GOP, let the facts come out and hold up on those revenge hearing plans. We already know the former president had top secret information and documents at his home that should have been in a secure, government location.
