I refuse to accept that shootings at schools, supermarkets, churches, parades, etc. are “the new normal.” When was the decision made that accepting donations from the NRA was more important than protecting our children?
When did the right to bear arms translate into the right to purchase weapons that can fire 50 rounds a minute? America is better than this. The primaries are coming up in a couple weeks. I refuse to vote for anyone who will not support a federal ban on assault weapons.
