■The Bow Garden Club, in cooperation with the Baker Free Library, will present “Books In Bloom” at the Baker Free Library on Sept. 30 (4 to 7 p.m.) and Oct. 1 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), in the lower level in the Cafe & Bow Rotary Room. “Books In Bloom” is an exhibit featuring individual floral designs created to reflect a particular book. Any Bow resident interested in creating a design to add to the exhibit should send an email to booksinbloom@bowgardenclub.org. Bow Garden Club members will present a brief demonstration on Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m., for anyone interested in entering their own floral arrangements for the exhibit. ■Outdoor Toddler Story Time returns on Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the bandstand by the library. The special guest host will be Police Chief Chris Remillard. Please bring a blanket to sit on, bug spray, sunblock, water and snacks. After the activities, the library provides a “Stay and Play” component for children to play and moms/dads to meet and mingle.

■“Preserving the Harvest” with Leslie Cercier via Zoom on Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Join the organic gourmet, preparing and preserving a bountiful garden harvest. For more information and a link, contact the Dunbarton Library.
