Don Bolduc is a bad liar. His “U-Turn” (Monitor, 9/18) is so transparent and so dishonest that he fools nobody. Even his most loyal supporters surely see that his flip flop on the 2020 election is blatant act of spinelessness. Bolduc’s statement that he did a lot of research on the election to change his mind is a sad lie from a dishonest man. He simply realized that his far-right primary position can’t win a general election. So now, the Big Flip follows the Big Lie. T
o paraphrase a comment from the shameful McCarthy era hearings “General, have you no shame?” Bolduc also would like to eliminate a woman’s right to choose. Anyone who values a woman’s right to keep control over her own health care choices should vote against Bolduc in November. Similarly, pro-choice voters should not vote for any Republican candidates who are against a woman’s right to choose. That pretty much rules out most Republican candidates because the GOP has built a party that says it is for individual freedom but wants to stick its nose into women’s business.
