Coe-Brown 5, Trinity 3

Key players: Coe-Brown – Nate Ford (3 goals), Max Heigis (goal, assist), Cameron Lee (5 saves)

Highlights: Trinity tied the game, 3-3, late in the second half and were putting pressure on our defense, but Coe-Brown held on and scored a pair of goals late to secure the win.

Coach’s quote: “The game was back and forth which made for some nervy moments. Credit to Trinity for generating a rapid attack that caught us off guard a number of times. We got plenty of practice responding to momentum shifts. We’re proud of our guys tonight for sticking to it and coming up with solutions that paid off in the end. After playing back-to-back days, everyone needed to play a part in the match, including Cameron Lee, our backup keeper. We have been dealing with injuries and sickness throughout the season as well. While it makes it challenging to find consistency, we’re happy that all our players have had opportunities to contribute.” – Coe-Brown’s Christian Gompert
