Shame on Cindy LaFond of the Granite YMCA and shame on the Concord Monitor for printing as a My Turn piece, what is nothing more than an advertisement for Medicare Advantage programs. As if seniors will not be seeing enough of this in the near future as the enrolement period arrives.
Understandable is the Y’s interest as they can reap considerable dollars from members who use the Medicare Advantage programs. But if you read other news articles, the programs are costing the federal government much more than traditional Medicare only to the benefit of the insurance companies. There is disappointment all around.
