■The Penacook Winter Farmers Market has opened! The market is now open every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Riverhill Grange, 32 Horse Hill Rd., through May 2023.

■The Penacook Village Association will host a local candidates’ forum, sponsored by the Penacook Village Association and the League of Women Voters. The forum will be on Oct. 19, in the Merrimack Valley High School Library, from 7 to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to informally meet the candidates.
