I am supporting Cara Meeker for Concord School Board to represent District B, which is comprised of Wards 5, 6 and 7. Cara and her husband have a child attending Abbot-Downing school and both parents are involved with their child’s success at school. I have known Cara for 17 years. She is well informed, respectful of others and fair in her judgment. She has worked in private enterprise and government as well as volunteer work for various organizations. In each case, she quickly learns the job and often recommends how it can be improved.
I expect that Cara will bring those attributes with her as a school board member. She will identify the best policies and procedures and how to keep them working best for all constituents. She will work with others to design improvements to systems that no longer work well in today’s environment. I hope you join me in voting for Cara for school board.
