Voters in Bow and Hopkinton have two excellent candidates for the N.H. House in Angela Brennan and Muriel Hall. Both will work hard for all citizens to lower property taxes and protect public schools. Angela is the only selectwoman in Bow where she is a strong voce for accountability and full transparency of what government is doing. She volunteered on the Town Governance Committee seeking ways to make it easier for citizens to participate in the decision-making by the town. Like many strong women, since her election Angela has been bullied and trolled by men, but with a smile and resolve she continues to work for all of us. As the mother of young children, she is well aware of the challenge to raise a family, balance a family budget, and have a career. We can be certain she will be a strong voice for all citizens and never lose sight of needs of working people.
Muriel Hall serves as a state representative from Bow, after a lifetime as a teacher dedicated to making sure thousands of students are prepared for the challenges of life. Muriel continues that dedication serving on the Education Committee in the House working every day to support education and lower property taxes. Both of these women have boundless energy, optimism, and strong moral compasses, exactly what we deserve in our public officials. I urge all voters in Bow and Hopkinton to vote for Angela Brennan and Muriel Hall on November 8th.
