■It is requested that decorations and like-items be removed from the Maple Grove Cemetery by Nov. 1 for the annual fall cleanup. Any items that are deemed to be obtrusive to the maintenance of the cemetery will be removed.

■The Supervisors of the Checklist will meet on Oct. 26. This is for new registrations, address change and /or name change. This meeting will be held upstairs at Academy Hall from 7 to 7:30 p.m.

■There will be a forum sponsored by the Webster Democratic Committee on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. The public is welcome to come and hear these candidates!

■The Webster Police Department will participate in the 23rd Take Back Day. They will collect your unwanted prescriptions and over-the-counter medications at the Webster Public Safety Building (851 Battle St.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 29.

■Halloween is just around the corner, and if you have children who would like to go trick or treating, head over to the clubhouse at Pillsbury Lake for a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 29 from 3 to 5 p.m.
