As a registered Democrat I plan on supporting my local candidates with one exception. I am voting for Keith Mitchell for county sheriff. I believe it is important to vote for the best candidate and there are times when that candidate may not be in your preferred party.
I have known Keith for many years. He is honest, responsible and treats others with respect. He is willing to hear anyone out and his responses are thoughtful and measured. Personally I do not understand why sheriff is a political position but at this time I will put my trust in Keith. I hope you will join me.
