Maggie Hassan has been hammering Don Bolduc over the abortion issue but while abortion is an important target, she has not been hitting him on a more important issue, his judgment. So, I will do it in her stead. For almost two years, Bolduc has been calling into question the 2020 election. Suddenly, immediately after the primary, he declared he did his โresearchโ and the election was valid. This begs the question of why he did not do his research before he made claims he did not know to be true. He either did not think it important enough or he knew the facts but ignored them because it did not fit his narrative.
Neither reflects well on the candidateโs judgment. How do the voters know he will do the research on bills before the Senate? How do we know he wonโt ignore facts that donโt fit the party narrative? Based on his actions on the campaign trail, we donโt. It seems from his own words and actions, truth and facts donโt concern him, political expediency however, apparently does. There are enough people in the Senate who lack good judgment. We do not need to add one more.
