The John Stark Regional High School field hockey team won its first title in program history on Sunday, and the New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association rewarded the head of that program accordingly.
Dennis Pelletier was named the Division II Coach of the Year by his peers in the NHFHCA, the organization announced on Thursday night. Several of his players earned accolades as well, with senior midfielder Aubrey Fischer and sophomore defender Adie Bolduc earning D-II First Team All-State nods.
Freshman midfielder Lauryn Guevin and senior defender Jackie O’Donnell were named to the Second Team, while junior midfielder Hailey Brisson and sophomore forward Jillian Fredette earned Honorable Mentions.
Below is the list of all First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention selections from area teams.
First Team: Concord’s Amy Desrochers (freshman) and Emma Beaujouan (senior).
Second Team: Concord’s Greta Norton (senior) and Aly McGonigle (sophomore).
Honorable Mention: Concord’s Nadia Hanna (sophomore).
First Team: Bow’s Alex Larrabee (senior), John Stark’s Aubrey Fischer (senior) and Adie Bolduc (sophomore), and Merrimack Valley’s Kaiya Mercier (sophomore).
Second Team: John Stark’s Jackie O’Donnell (senior) and Lauryn Guevin (freshman), Merrimack Valley’s Abby Forbes (senior) and Pembroke’s Natalie Longacre (senior).
Honorable Mention: Bow’s Elena Roy (senior) and Sabrina Bernard (junior), John Stark’s Jillian Fredette (sophomore) and Hailey Brisson (junior), Merrimack Valley’s Kalee Keyser (senior), and Pembroke’s Camdyn Despres (sophomore) and Treic Thomas-Guerzon (junior).
First Team: Bishop Brady’s Laura Yap (junior) and Margaret Sheehan (senior).
Second Team: Bishop Brady’s Kimble Rose (sophomore).
