We have a basic choice in this election. Do we want a democracy in the United States. If your answer is yes, you have to start by condemning election deniers. We need to rely on the rule of law. Just recently, Gov. Sununu said he supports Don Bolduc with the reason that he is not a one issue voter. Governor Sununu, the question of denying a fair election is basic to our democracy. Denying it lead to January 6th and the violence that ensued and yes it was many Republicans who were election deniers. We need to speak out about violence no matter the party.
As an American, I find politicians who are great with one-liners, but lack experience and knowledge on the real issues. What will you do about women’s rights. What will you do about climate change. What will you do about creating a fair and equitable society. We need to tamp down the rhetoric, stop the name calling and demeaning of public servants. As an independent, long-time New Hampshire voter, I know there are good Republicans in New Hampshire, but they have failed to speak out on violence, women’s rights, climate change, and yes election integrity. I hope before the next election cycle, they can get their act together but for this election, I encourage you to vote Democratic for Tom Sherman, Maggie Hassan, Annie Kuster, Chris Pappas and for those in my district, Ellen Scarponi, Ruth Heath, for state reps and Christine Tappan for the state senate.
