The Winni Players Community Theatre will be presenting their annual staged radio drama once again. This year’s selection, Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play is an adaptation of three Hitchcock films written by Joe Landry. It will be performed at the Playhouse from Nov. 10 to 13.

Radio superstar Pat Kelly once again joins a cast of local performers who will reenact the old time feel of a radio studio complete with live foley sound. Margaret Lundberg of Laconia helms this production, her fifth time directing a radio drama.

Spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock come to life in the style of a 1940s radio broadcast of the master of suspense’s earlier films. With The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps, Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play is a triple feature that includes a daring train chase, a serial killer’s ominous presence, and a devastating explosion through the magic of live sound effects.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15. The Winnipesaukee Playhouse is located at 33 Footlight Circle (formerly 50 Reservoir Rd), Meredith.
