■Head to the Boscawen Public Library on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for their special event “Music in My Pockets: Family Fun in Folk Music.” Attendees will enjoy revisiting a New England town in 1850 or 1910.
■The town’s holiday food basket will be replaced with a voucher program to be used at participating Market Baskets. Forms to apply are available at the Town Municipal Offices at 116 N. Main St., or on their website at www.townofboscawen.org. Signups end on Nov. 30. Vouchers will be ready for pickup on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.
■Boscawen residents in need of a Thanksgiving Basket are asked to call Linda Patton at (603) 998-2853. Monetary donations would be greatly appreciated and checks are to be made out to Boscawen Congregational Church Food Pantry and mailed to 12 High St, Boscawen, NH 03303.
■The town’s winter parking ban is now in effect from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., seven days a week. It applies to all town-maintained roads and parking lots. Vehicles will be subject to fines and/or removal if owners violate the ban.
