The city has several holiday events planned over the next few weeks starting with the Concord Christmas Parade scheduled for this Saturday.  The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and head up Loudon Road from Hazen Drive to Canterbury Road. Streets will be closed from 7:15 a.m. to noon.  The day after Thanksgiving, the city will hold its holiday tree lighting during downtown ceremonies from 4 to 7 p.m.

The city has several holiday events planned over the next few weeks starting with the Concord Christmas Parade scheduled for this Saturday 

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and head up Loudon Road from Hazen Drive to Canterbury Road. Streets will be closed from 7:15 a.m. to noon. 

The day after Thanksgiving, the city will hold its holiday tree lighting during downtown ceremonies from 4-7 p.m.

Main Street, from Centre Street to School Street; North State Street, from Park Street to Capitol Street; Park Street from Main Street to North State Street; and Capitol Street from Main Street to North State Street will be closed from 3-7:30 p.m.

The Penacook Village Association will be hosting the 17th Annual Penacook Tree Lighting ceremony on Wednesday, November 30 at Boudreau Square on Village Street.  Attendees can assemble around 5:30 pm to hear carols and singing featuring the Penacook Elementary School Chorus and Blanchard Family Singers, and watch Santa arrive courtesy of the Concord Fire Department.

The downtown Midnight Merriment event will be held Friday, December 2, from 5-11:45 p.m.
