The storefronts of Concord’s downtown area were lighted longer than usual Friday night as Intown Concord held its annual Midnight Merriment event.
With holiday deals and special activities, Main Street businesses hoped to entice shoppers to spend more locally when purchasing gifts.
Santa visited with attendees near the city’s Christmas tree. Eatxactly Sweet Café hosted a Gingerbread House contest where visitors could cast their votes for their favorite, and stations were set up in Bicentennial Square for s’mores making. DJ Nazzy kept the crowd moving during his dance party.
