■We know kids are busy these days, but if yours are not involved (and having a blast) in 4-H, they’re missing out. Our club meets once a month during the school year. Adding 4-H to their lives will enhance their self-esteem, independence, helpfulness, and future potential. Give your kids a chance to explore what the Canterbury Rascals 4-H Club is all about, by bringing them to our Community Open House, on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Parish House (behind the Country Store in the Center). You can just drop by … but, even better, please let us know that you plan to come, as well as how many kids you’re bringing. Email Kim Scamman at kimscamman@hotmail.com no later than Dec. 2.

■The Salisbury Historical Society (SHS) will have their Annual Christmas Sale in the museum on the first two Saturdays in December from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be refreshments available so stop by and pick up those last few items on your list. Since this is a time for considering charitable donations, they hope you’ll keep the SHS Scholarship Fund in mind.
