Year-end drive a success

The Friends of the Merrimack River Greenway Trail (FMRGT) would like to thank all of the individual donors who made our year-end fundraising drive a success.  We received more than $11,000 from almost one hundred donations towards the next section of trail, scheduled to be built this summer in the newly established Merrimack River Recreation and Open Space Corridor.  You can see the complete list at mrgt.org/giving-tuesday-2022.

While a paved, riverside trail was surely enough to motivate all of our donors, it was helped along by a gift card raffle as part of the campaign.  Thank you, Margaritas of Concord, for donating 40 $25 gift cards that were won by randomly chosen donors.  Donations from local businesses like Margaritas not only let us reward our generous contributors, but they also help us demonstrate community support as we reach out to other businesses.

While we’re thanking supporters, thank you to the Concord Food Co-op for nominating us to be one of their round-up non-profits.

Even more thanks to all of the Co-op shoppers who supported our application, resulting in FMRGT being selected as the round-up non-profit for the month of March.  We know the Concord community will show the same support during the round-up event as it has through all of our fundraising campaigns.

Thanks,

Friends of the Merrimack River Greenway Trail
