Hopkinton Rotary has recognized Louise Carr as Hopkinton Citizen of the Year 2022 for her efforts to improve life in our community. Over the year she has played major roles in the Kimball Cabin restoration and planning, preservation planning for the Houston Barn, and the organizing of the Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser for the Recreation Department, all the while serving and leading many town committees. On Feb. 22, Hopkinton Rotary Board members Ken Traum and Eric Schlepphorst presented Louise a check for $500 to be donated to a charity of her choice and honored her with Rotary’s Paul Harris Award in recognition of her exemplary community service.
